During the culture festival, the main cast of the drama, consisting of Naoto, Yosuke, Chie, and the ubiquitous Teddie, decide to take a break from the usual suspects and partake in a few lighthearted activities. One such activity involves the aforementioned triathlon. Sadly, the aforementioned triathlon has a couple of drawbacks. The most notable one is that Yukiko is the only female member of the triathlon squad, making her the unlikely candidate for the title of captain. However, she does prove to be a worthy candidate when it comes to sports – specifically, kicking a football, or at least the soccer ball of her dreams.
In the grand scheme of things, Yu and Yosuke are forced to take the backseat. This inevitably leads to a series of tense moments, not the least of which is the discovery that Yukiko’s hair is in fact a hot mess. Fortunately, Chie comes to the rescue. But, as you’d expect from a dude who’s a sucker for a good girl, there’s a price to be paid, and a lot of it.
Nevertheless, while the aforementioned triathlon isn’t something you’ll see on a regular basis, it’s fun to watch. Moreover, Chie proves herself to be a formidable opponent, and a competent team player. As such, she becomes a good candidate to be the next Miss America. After all, it’s hard to beat a female with a name like that.
As for the rest of the triathlon, Yu and Yosuke rely on Chie to get them to the finish line.
